INTERNATIONAL MEDICAL PROGRAM
Our International Medical Program (IMP) aims to improve health infrastructure, enhance the capacity of local health professionals, and provide high-quality medical care to low-income patients from underserved communities.
The International Medical Program
How we empower the most vulnerable
Solutions that last
Our International Medical Program (IMP) is dedicated to creating sustainable health systems in underserved communities in Honduras. Through our four projects - Surgical Trips, Training and Equipment, Optical Care, and Rehab and Physiotherapy - we strengthen the capacity of local health professionals, provide high-quality medical care to low-income patients, and improve the overall health infrastructure in the country. By implementing these projects, we strive to improve access to essential health services and strengthen a sustainable healthcare system that will have a lasting impact on the health and well-being of underserved communities for years to come.

Gynecological surgery
“There is a lack of medical care in Honduras and so many people are unable to afford surgery. We are able to bring volunteer ophthalmologists, gynecological surgeons, general surgeons, and urologists into the country. They are experts in their fields and are highly experienced, and the surgeries they perform are just absolutely life-changing for patients.”
